The RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit have charged two men with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 19-year-old female.

, Windsor District RCMP RCMP responded to a complaint that a 19-year-old female that had been kidnapped and sexual assaulted by two males. The female reported that the incident occurred following a house party in Hants County when two males forced her into a vehicle. The female was taken to a remote location where she was sexually assaulted and was then returned to the residence where the party occurred.
Twenty-five-year-old Sanchez Lemar Clarke from Halifax was arrested at the residence. The second male, 24-year-old Kingsley Cornell Downey from North Preston, turned himself into officers at the Windsor Detachment yesterday. Both are facing charges of Kidnapping, Sexual Assault and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
Clarke was remanded and is being held in custody pending his next court appearance in Windsor Provincial Court on Friday morning. Downey will also appear in Windsor Provincial Court on Friday morning.
