Unions to work with NS Government on representation

Halifax, N.S. – Leaders of the four health care unions who represent employees of the District Health Authorities and the IWK Health Center are working with Government on a new option for representation of those employees after the provincial health authority is established on April 1.
 
The Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union (NSNU) The Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU), The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and Unifor have agreed to a media blackout that will be in effect immediately, and until further notice.
