Update: RCMP request public assistance, Victoria County, N.S.

RCMP in Inverness County have determined the whereabouts of François Brodeur and as a result have concluded their ground and air search. Based on the investigation, RCMP have confirmed that Brodeur was in the Oromocto area earlier this morning.

RCMP would like to speak to Mr. Brodeur to confirm the events that occurred after he was reported as missing yesterday.

He was last seen at approximately 12:30 p.m. yesterday in the North Mountain / Big Intervale / Cape North area. He was traveling south to Ingonish from Pleasant Bay with another rider who was on a different motorcycle ahead of him.

RCMP wish to thank the Cheticamp Ground Search and Rescue, Department of Natural Resources, Parks Canada, the public and media for their shares and retweets on social media.
