An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman suspected of stealing a large quantity of sunglasses last June.

 

On June 11, a woman entered a store specializing in sunglasses inside the Halifax Shopping Centre and took a number of sunglasses before leaving the store without paying for them. The same woman returned to the store on June 12 and again stole a quantity of sunglasses. The value of the stolen merchandise is over $7,500. 

 

On July 26, police released pictures of the suspect and asked for the public’s help to identify her. Several tips were received following the publication of the pictures which led to the identification of a suspect. Officers have been unsuccessful in locating her.

 

On October 4, an arrest warrant was issued for 49-year-old Laura Ann Zwicker of Halifax. She has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen goods under $5,000.
