Woman Charged for Impaired Driving after Barrington St MVA

At 9pm Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of 2613 Barrington Street for a multiple vehicle collision.  Upon arrival they noted three vehicles involved and a power pole had been struck.  As a result of the investigation it has been determined a 20 year old Halifax woman was driving her Hyundai south bound on Barrington Street when it struck a utility pole and veered into oncoming traffic where it collided with two other vehicles.  Officers subsequently arrested the female driver of the Hyundai for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and released her with a future court date.  Luckily no one was injured at the scene.
