Youth Shot On Romans Avenue

Halifax Regional Police are currently on the scene of an incident on Romans Avenue at Federal Avenue.

  At about 7:19 pm a 911 called was received that a vehicle had been shot at while in the intersection by an occupant of another vehicle. A passenger in one of the vehicle was hit in the arm and the vehicle left the area and arrived at the QE2 hospital. The youth was treated for minor injuries and is presently still in hospital. Members of Uniform Patrol, the Integrated General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section are continuing to investigate the incident. Presently officers are trying to locate a
suspect and the vehicle they were in.
